Boy Scout Merit Badge Programs
Activities - The Strategic Air & Space Museum will provide all of the instruction and guidance to complete the requirements for either Aviation or Space Exploration Merit Badges. The Scouts will rotate through a variety of educational workshops, a movie in the ConAgra Theatre, an evening snack, and breakfast in the morning.
The Aviation Merit Badge activities include:
- A tour of the Museum
- Pilot interviews
- A ride on our flight simulator
- A visit to the Aircraft Restoration area
- and much, much more!
The Space Exploration Merit Badge activities include:
- Building rockets
- Designing a space station
- A tour of the Museum
- Constructing a rover
- and much, much more!
Overnight programs start at 7pm, Museum doors open at 6:45pm for check-in. All activities conclude at 8am on Saturday morning.

Overnight Policy: The Museum requires a minimum of 75 to run the overnight program. Call the Museum with your group of 10 or more youths and the date you would prefer your group to be scheduled. The Museum reserves the right to cancel any overnight that doesn't meet the minimum requirements. All of our programs are safe, supervised and highly educational.
