Rental Spaces

The Strategic Air & Space Museum is unique because it can accommodate large groups of up to 2000 people. All rentals include the use of the parking area, which holds a maximum of 250 cars and 25 buses/trucks. Cost of rental is based on a four hour event. When renting more than one Museum area, the total cost will be figured on a space available basis. Guests are permitted to view the exhibits. All areas of the building are smoke-free. The museum reserves the right to refuse an event that is inconsistent with its mission and nonprofit status.

Capacity in each area below depends primarily on the event, and numbers below are approximate.

Full Building

The Strategic Air & Space Museum is one of the largest facilities in the area and can accommodate up to 2000 people for special events. Rental of the entire building is available after hours. This fee includes the use of the Glass Atrium, Mezzanine, both hangars, the Restoration Area, exhibit areas and the theater.

Hangar A

This area houses several of the largest aircraft in the museum. Capacity is approximately 300+. Available space is subject to change due to aircraft movement.

Mezzanine

Seating on this rectangular shaped balcony provides a view of the largest aircraft housed in Hangar A. This area will accommodate small to medium sized groups of up to 200.

Hangar B

Hangar B will accommodate several hundred guests seated at tables around the aircraft. Available space is subject to change due to aircraft movement.

Atrium

By far the most dramatic and popular area of the building, the glass Atrium consists of two levels, a balcony and lower level, and is the perfect setting for cocktails and dinner for 200 people.

Theater

The multimedia theater seats 200 and is equipped with a stage, video, overhead and advanced computer technology.

Library

The library will seat up to 40 at rectangular tables, and is perfect for a small meeting or luncheon.

Randolph Walling Conference Room

Suitable for executive-level board meetings, this private room with a view offers high-end presentation capabilities and will accommodate 22 people.
