The Strategic Air & Space Museum offers Two Family-Fun Membership Recruitment Days
Easter Egg Drop & Kite Flying
ASHLAND, NE (February 15, 2016) – The Strategic Air & Space Museum added two membership recruitment days to its 2016 calendar. The two events offer interactive hands-on experiences at a discounted admission price so families can experience all the museum has to offer.
Museum memberships offer families benefits that include unlimited access to the museum, a monthly breakfast with an opportunity to view the inside of an aircraft, discounts on camps and any ticketed event, special invitations to exhibit openings, free lunch events, and museum store discounts. “This event is a great way for the public to see and learn about all the events and fun educational programs available to them,” said Aly Ruwe, membership coordinator for the Strategic Air & Space Museum.
The Easter Egg Drop held March 12, 2016, will be a fun-filled event from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm which includes a science activity where young guests experiment with building a devise that will keep their egg safe and participate in a scavenger egg hunt. Additional activities, sponsored by the Navy Federal Credit Union, include a visit with the Easter Bunny, face painting, and make and take projects.
The second family-fun membership recruitment day, sponsored by Midwest Winds Kite Fliers, will be held June 11, 2016 with a public Kite Flying event. The Museum will supply free kite making materials, offer science demonstrations, and guests will fly kites on the museums outdoor spaces.
The events are free to current members and the general public will receive $2.00 off general admission from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm – which means adults pay only $10, youth (4-12) pay $4, Youth (3 and under) are Free, and Military/Senior pay $9.
