Join us on Veterans Day, as we honor veterans for their sacrifice and service.
Our program begins at 11:00 am and will include:

- Presentation of the Colors by Offutt AFB Honor Guard
- National Anthem performed by Senior Airman Mario Foreman-Powell
- Remarks from Strategic Air Command & Aerospace Museum President & CEO, Jeff Cannon
- Veterans Day Keynote from Lt Col Jeremy B. Folks, Commander, 49th Intelligence Squadron, Offutt Air Force Base
- Q & A with Lt. Col. Folks and SrA Foreman-Powell
- Screening of “29 Years: A Second Chance at Life”
- Admission on Veterans Day is FREE for ALL Veterans as well as active and retired military.

followed by the screening of the film.
The story of an American hero who is rescued from the flaming wreckage of his battle-damaged B-52 and continues to serve his country until his life tragically ends with the attack on the Pentagon on September 11, 2001.

This 45-minute film is the story of an American hero, Robert Hymel, who is rescued from the flaming wreckage of his battle-damaged B-52 and continues to serve his country until his life tragically ends with the attack on the Pentagon on September 11, 2001. Director and Producer, Steve Saunders will provide a pre-show talk in the Theater.

Lieutenant Colonel Jeremy B. Folks is the Commander, 49th Intelligence Squadron, Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska. The squadron provides the Air Force with the only strategic reserve airborne Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance collection and analysis capability for the RC-135 fleet worldwide. As part of the Air Force Reserve’s 655th ISR Wing, the 49th Intelligence Squadron operationally supports the 55th Wing by providing mission-essential airborne intelligence collectors and advanced signal analysts, ensuring information dominance across the full spectrum of conflict.

National Anthem Performed by: SrA Mario Foreman-Powell
Senior Airman Mario Foreman Powell performs as a vocalist in the United States Air Force Heartland of America Band at Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska. In addition to his musical duties, he serves as Social Media Manager, works in Supply and Publicity and currently is a Co-producer for the 2021 Holiday Show for the Heartland of America Band.
