The Strategic Air Command & Aerospace Museum Announces Its New Series of Family Night Extravaganzas
ASHLAND, NE (January 11, 2016) – The SAC Aerospace Museum’s Education Department is committed to fueling the curiosity of children across the Midwest and to educating them with special emphasis in the areas of science, technology, engineering, and math. The museum’s new Family Night Extravaganza series is comprised of education-led experiences which include exploring a wide range of concepts in aviation, engineering and learning about the solar system in the museum’s Planetarium.
Family Fun Night Extravaganza (July 23, 2016) – The SAC Aerospace Museum will show a family-friendly aviation movie in its hangar B so guest can bring their own blanket or lawn chairs and enjoy being under the wings of the B-29 and KC-97. Guests are welcome to bring their own snacks or purchase concessions at the event. There will be space themed activities and planetarium shows included in this evening full of extravaganza.
Family Fun Night Extravaganza (Nov 12, 2016) - The SAC Aerospace Museum is offering an engineering night at the museum. Guests will learn how to engineer and create things from ordinary household items. The evening also includes fun activities and games. Guests can participate in games such as giant Jenga and giant chest.
The Family Night Extravaganza events are after hours from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. General admission applies, guests are invited to come to the museum as early as they want and stay through the evening.
