Restoration

A single aircraft takes thousands of hours to restore. Although many of those hours are provided by volunteers, the material and equipment are very costly. Your donations toward tools, paint, machinery, and staff help preserve history.

SAC Aerospace Museum Charitable Donation Policy:

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and strive to balance our responsibility to be good stewards of our financial resources and our role as an important partner to our community. Though we would like to grant all requests received, hundreds of requests reach our facility annually and we can only provide a limited number of passes each year.

We prioritize support for STEM education and other requests that align with our mission to inspire the discovery of flight and space exploration. Priority will also be given to requests by organizations that provide services in our service area of Cass County, the neighboring Lincoln and Omaha metro areas, and western Iowa.

Please note:

  • We only give once per year to each beneficiary group, thereby allowing us to expand the number of organizations SAC Aerospace Museum can aid.
  • We do not issue monetary donations.
  • Donations are limited to fundraising events only; we do not provide door prizes.
  • SAC Aerospace Museum reserves the right to deny any request at its sole discretion; receipt of donations in prior years does not guarantee continued donations in any subsequent years.
