SAC Aerospace Museum Charitable Donation Policy:
We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and strive to balance our responsibility to be good stewards of our financial resources and our role as an important partner to our community. Though we would like to grant all requests received, hundreds of requests reach our facility annually and we can only provide a limited number of passes each year.
We prioritize support for STEM education and other requests that align with our mission to inspire the discovery of flight and space exploration. Priority will also be given to requests by organizations that provide services in our service area of Cass County, the neighboring Lincoln and Omaha metro areas, and western Iowa.
Please note:
- We only give once per year to each beneficiary group, thereby allowing us to expand the number of organizations SAC Aerospace Museum can aid.
- We do not issue monetary donations.
- Donations are limited to fundraising events only; we do not provide door prizes.
- SAC Aerospace Museum reserves the right to deny any request at its sole discretion; receipt of donations in prior years does not guarantee continued donations in any subsequent years.
Historical Artifact Donations
The Strategic Air Command & Aerospace Museum accepts donations of objects and artifacts that align with the Museum mission and meet our current collection needs. As outlined below, the museum follows a policy of selective acquisition. Each Donation request is greatly appreciated and will be thoughtfully considered by the museum’s curation team to determine if the donation is an appropriate fit for the museum’s mission and in line with the acquisition terms.
In order to assist us with the review of your proposed donation, please fill out the form below and fully describe your item(s). Due to limited space and resources, not all artifacts submitted for consideration can be accepted into the collection.
Please note that the museum does not accept “walk-in” donations and requires this form to be submitted in order to start the donation application process. Thank you for considering making a permanent donation to the Strategic Air Command & Aerospace Museum.
