American Legion Riders Make Strategic Air Command & Aerospace Museum Stop During Legacy Run
The Strategic Air Command & Aerospace Museum was honored to welcome more than 250 American Legion Riders during the 20th Annual American Legion Legacy Run on Sunday, August 23.
The five-day, 1,000-mile motorcycle ride traveled through six states in support of The American Legion Veterans & Children Foundation, which works to support veterans, service members, and military families facing unexpected hardships. This year’s ride set a goal of raising more than $1 million for the foundation.
During their stop at the museum, riders had the opportunity to gather beneath some of the museum’s historic aircraft and explore the collection before continuing their journey.
The Strategic Air Command & Aerospace Museum is proud to have been a part of the Legacy Run and grateful to the American Legion Riders for their continued commitment to supporting America’s veterans and military families.
