The XF-85 Goblin was one of aviation history’s boldest experiments a tiny “parasite fighter” designed to launch from and return to a bomber while in flight. But turning that concept into reality proved far more difficult than expected. In all, the XF-85 logged just 2 hours and 19 minutes of flight time before the project came to an end.
Today, the Strategic Air Command & Aerospace Museum is proud to display XF-85 Goblin, one of only two ever built and the one that flew the most.
