Adopt a Plane
Help Preserve the Icons of American Airpower
The aircraft inside the Strategic Air Command & Aerospace Museum are more than impressive machines. They are witnesses to history, engineering milestones, and powerful reminders of the men and women who designed, maintained, flew, and supported them.
Through the SAC Adopt a Plane program, individuals, families, businesses, and organizations can help care for some of the Museum’s most recognized aircraft while connecting their name to an important piece of aviation history.
Your annual sponsorship supports ongoing preservation, cleaning, interpretation, and stewardship of the aircraft that inspire visitors every day.
Why Adopt?
When you adopt an aircraft, you help preserve more than metal, rivets, engines, and paint. You help protect the stories connected to each aircraft: the crews who flew them, the engineers who pushed possibility forward, and the families and communities shaped by their service.
The Museum was created to preserve the aircraft and artifacts of the Strategic Air Command era while using that history to inspire future innovators, explorers, and problem-solvers. Adopt a Plane is a direct way to support that mission.
